Meeting safely
Classes, experiences and services mean meeting in person — at the shop's home, at yours, or in an online room. We want to say it plainly from the start: joyzii does not vet, certify or insure any teacher, host or provider. What you have to go on are reviews from people who actually bought, and the order record of every step.
So there is no badge or certificate from us on a class page or a shop page saying that someone teaches well or is safe, because we haven't checked. Read the reviews, see how long the shop has been on joyzii, and ask in chat until you're sure — before you pay.
- Meet in a public place when you can — a first class at a café, a studio or anywhere with other people around beats a home you don't know yet.
- If the learner or participant is a child, an adult is present the whole time, wherever it happens.
- Read “Age note” and everything else the shop has stated, then ask in chat until nothing is unclear — before you pay.
- The shop's exact address appears on your order page — tell someone close to you where you are going, and when.
- An online meeting link is yours alone. Do not forward it.
Before you pay, you can cancel on your own for any reason at all — feeling uneasy is reason enough, and you owe nobody an explanation (see “Why can't I cancel my order?”).
If something isn't right, before or after you meet, tap “Report this round” at the foot of the round's page (under the photos on a larger screen) or “Report this shop” on the shop's page: pick a reason, say briefly what happened, send. The report goes straight to the joyzii team, and the shop can't see who reported.
For something that has already happened — not as described, or something went wrong — raise it from the order page under “Need help?”; the joyzii team reads it and decides (see “It didn't arrive, it arrived damaged, or it isn't what was described”). For anything that endangers life or safety, call the police on 191 or emergency medical services on 1669 first, always.
