Why did my order cancel itself?
Things on joyzii are sold in rounds, and many rounds are limited. Every unpaid order is holding one piece of that round — leave it sitting there and somebody who genuinely wants it cannot order, while the shop cannot get on and make it. So there are two time limits, and when one runs out we cancel the order for you and put that piece straight back into the round.
There are exactly two cases where that happens:
- The shop did not answer your order within the time that round allows — you did nothing wrong here, and we are sorry on the shop's behalf.
- The shop accepted, but the order was not paid within the time allowed.
Which means only these statuses can ever be cancelled by a clock. Once an order is past paying, no clock touches it:
- Waiting for the shop to accept
- The shop accepted your order
- Paying — waiting for the money
Each round sets its own times, because a cake baked today and a two-week preorder are not the same thing. That is why there is no fixed number here — the order page counts the time down from the moment the clock starts, and shows when it is due, in Thai time.
Not paid means nothing to refund: no money has left your account. And if you scanned and paid right as the time ran out, an order with a payment still in flight is never cancelled — we wait for your bank's answer first. A paid order is never taken away by a clock.
After a cancellation the order page tells you which clock it was, and whether that round is still taking orders. If it is, you can order again. If it has closed or sold out, follow the shop and you will know when the next round opens.
