Selling a class, an experience or a service on joyzii
On joyzii your knowledge and your time sell as a round, the same as a batch of cakes: a one-day class is one round, a four-week package is one round with four sessions. Buyers buy seats, and the number of seats is how many people you can really take. The numbers on the round's page always count real orders.
- A round needs at least one dated session — the date is the product.
- Orders close before the first session starts, and once it has started nobody can buy a seat.
- A package runs in order: the next session starts after the previous one ends.
- Once someone has booked, the schedule locks — the only way to change it is to propose a new time the buyer agrees to, like moving a pickup on a cake round.
- A buyer's time to pay never runs past the first session's start; the system caps it.
Where it happens is a choice like the way of receiving: at your place (the address is shown to the buyer after you accept — or once they've paid, if you let orders accept themselves), at the buyer's home within the radius you set, or online. For online you put the meeting link on the round (it must start with https); buyers see it on their order page once they've paid. If you change it, the system tells every buyer who hasn't attended yet — without sending the link itself in chat or in a notification.
What buyers see as pills under the price: level, duration, what's included, max class size (class) · where, duration, group size (experience) · where, duration per session, how often (service). Every pill is labelled “As stated by the shop”, so write what's true. An experience has an “Age note” field for your own words, such as “an adult must be present”.
After the last session ends you confirm “Class taught”, “Experience done” or “Service done” — the system won't let you before then, even if three of four sessions are behind you. Then the buyer confirms on their side, the order completes, and the money is yours at that moment, like every round (see the seller terms).
joyzii does not vet, certify or insure teachers, hosts or providers, and we tell buyers so plainly, in the terms and in the help centre. What makes people book is your reviews and your order record. If children attend, an adult is present, always (see “Meeting safely”).
The Joyzii Seller build that lets you create class, experience and service rounds yourself is on its way — to join the test round, write to us on the contact page.
