I bought a seat in a class — what now?

A class on joyzii is sold in rounds like a batch of cakes, but what you buy is a seat — one seat is one person attending. Three seats means you are bringing two friends. The numbers on the round's page are counted from real orders: how many seats are ordered, how many are left.

The dates and times are on the round's page before you order. A one-off class is one date; a package is several sessions in order (session 1, session 2 …), every one of them with a stated day and time — never “we'll arrange it later”. Orders always close before the first session starts, and once it has started nobody can buy a seat.

Where it happens is the line under the price: at the teacher's (the exact address appears on your order page on the same terms as a pickup), teacher comes to you, or online.

Online classes: the meeting link appears on your order page once you've paid, under “Meeting link” with a “Copy link” control — before that the database hands out no link at all. Anyone with this link can join, so keep it to yourself. If the shop changes it, we tell you, and the new link is in the same place on your order page — we never send the link itself in chat or in a notification.

Paying works like any order: you order, the shop accepts, then you pay — but the time you are given to pay never runs past the first session's start, because a seat in a class that has begun can't be sold to anyone. The order page counts it down as always.

After the last session ends the shop confirms on its side, and only then does the “I attended” button appear on your order page — the system won't let the shop confirm before the last session is over, even on a four-week package. From that moment you have 2 days (online, or at the teacher's) or 3 days (teacher comes to you) to tell us if the class wasn't what was described (see “It didn't arrive, it arrived damaged, or it isn't what was described”).

Cancelling: before you pay, you can cancel on your own for any reason, no explanation needed. After paying it becomes a request the shop decides on, like every order (see “Why can't I cancel my order?”). If you've attended some sessions and can't continue, message the shop — it can propose a change to the order, such as “less” with the remainder refunded, and you answer yes or no.

joyzii does not vet, certify or insure teachers. What exists are reviews from people who actually attended, and the order record. Read “Meeting safely” before going to someone's home.

Still stuck?

If it is about one particular order, message the shop from that order — they answer themselves, and they can see your order right there in the chat.
